The chemise was worn under all medieval ladies' clothing. It kept the outer clothing cleaner by absorbing perspiration. A chemise was often slept in as well.

This is a beautiful handmade medieval style chemise made from 100% Cotton fabric. The lace on the back gives it a lovely fit.
